Wk starting 23rd July
40’s all round – This week we hosted Shaun’s group of 8 who arrived in high expectation with the whole group having caught for the previous two years. No pressure then!
Tony went in Lookout catching 3 at 32-08 37 and 40-10 plus a small self-bred. Steve in Blown Away had 8 at 43, 39, 38, 36, 33 common, 31, 29, and 27, while Shaun had a 41, 29 and 23 from Island double then moved to Harry’s and caught a 37 and 29.
Rob beach in the beach caught 6 at 42, 39-09, 20-10, 23, 37, 25and Jay in Jakes had 4 at 41, 37, 39 and 21. Billy followed Shaun into Island double catching 38, 41and a 43 pb
Ryan fished sunken tree catching 5 at 46, 43, 41, 29 and 21, while Jamie caught a 44-06, 40 and 36. Not only did all the group catch for the third year running they all had a 40lb+ fish top that!!
