Holme Fen Fishery Weekly report 29th November
We have just completed the last week of fishing for 2015 on the Meadows lake Holme Fen Fishery. Conditions were not easy, with reasonably strong south westerly winds set in for the most of the week anglers found the going hard. The usual banker swims (Party Point and Reeds) failed to produce this week; there were a few hook pulls during the first 2 days but nothing banked. The weekend saw Chris Foers and his party arrive in high expectation with Chris breaking the deadlock a few hours later catching a nice 40-06 from Harrys. Chris followed this the following day with an even more impressive 42-10, the only 2 fish of the week but a great session all the same. Well done Chris. Holme Fen Fishery is now closed, reopening on 14th March with the booking system available from 1st Jan.
