Fishing picked up from the start this week with the capture of Captain jack at 60-02. Zack Barrett was fishing the the Beach Double at 130 yards towards the centre of the lake when he had his only bite of the 48hr session banking a new UK PB and lake record. Zack fished his hook bait over a bed of particle and HFF pellets hooking the fish at 11:00 am. Jason Lawlor had a 43lb Mirror from Four Strong winds fishing a clear spot in the direction of Jacks on PCF 14mm HFF boilies and a bed of chilli hemp and pellet. Garry Mortimer managed three from the Pump Hole on PCF Ghost boilies fished to a margin spot on the opposite bank. J Newbold had a 34-08 Mirror as well as others of 25-10, 20lb & 14lb from Harry’s fishing a clear area in the middle of the lake at approx. 130yds over a large bed of HFF pellets.
