Poachers July
Karl, Jordon & myself (James) started our 72hr session on poachers pool on Sunday when we faced some very hot weather. Fortunately the fish were not put off by the heat. I had four fish from pipe fishing towards the tree lined margin using double 8mm bottom baits over a bed of boilie, particle & pellet. 23lbs 6oz, 21lbs 2oz, 31lbs 2oz & 17lbs 5ozKarl had seven fish from Takeaway fishing towards a bed of weed and the tree lined margin using a cell snowmen hook bait over particle & boile. 33lbs 5oz, 24lbs 6oz, 22lbs 2oz, 12lbs, 17lbs 3oz, 19lbs 9oz & “Dorothy” at 43lbs 8oz.Jordon fished poachers point for 48hrs where he unfortunately blanked.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at poachers. The lake and facilities are excellent and we are already planning another trip in 2025!
