Holme Fen Weekly report wk 11th Nov
Fish have defiantly switched into winter feeding mode since the frosts and rain (cold water) hit us. Fishing was a little easier this week being in the right place at the right time paid dividends. Dan found feeding fish in 5ft of water in front of Four strong winds catching three 40’s at 47, 44 and 42. There was also a 21 out from Party Point. Over the weekend Phil struck gold with a brace of 50’s from the Lookout. Phil fished long towards the left of the swim to catch 3 going 57-12, 53-06, 43-07. There was a further 2 fish caught from Party Point one going 43, not sure of the second. Looking good for the winter syndicate starting next week.
