Holme Fen weekly report 27-3-17
The Meadows has kicked off to a relatively slow start with only one fish out during the first week at 31lb from the Dugout. The second week was slightly better with an 18lb mirror coming from East Bay, a 31lb Mirror falling to Darren Price from the Dugout and a 53lb lump for Paul Harrington from Party point. The weather looks good this week so hopefully thing will continue to improve.
Poachers Pool has been fishing excellent since opening with loads of big fish seeing the bank. Nigel Mitchell had a 30lb Mirror plus two others, Chris Garrett done well with a 37, and 31 with his fishing partner James Willsmer banking 5 to 27ib. Lee Poyser had three to 36lb while Sean Pash had two to 31lb and Seb Rhodes had a 36-6. Spaces available at www.holmefenfishery.co.uk
