Holme Fen Report wk 2nd Sept
Meadows
A week of two halves Michael’s group fished the midweek session landing 5 fish. Michael had two from Party Point at 50-08 and 45-08. Darren had a 41-10 also from Party Point Double with James catching a 45-10 from Jakes and Chris a 19 from the Reeds. Gavin’s group fished the weekend session just as the fish came on the feed landing 19 fish. Nathan started the ball rolling with a 33lb Common from Party Point. Dan had 8 from Four Strong Winds including 3 (one on each rod) in a 15-minute spell, Dans fish went 22, 23, 26, 36, 43-02, 44-06, 48-08 and 56-08. Andy also had a great session catching 7 from the Beach double going 20, 25-10, 32-06, 44-10, 46-08, 46-10 and 53-04. Stuart had a 31 Common from Harry’s.
Poachers
Poachers fished the other way round with the Midweek guys catching well then going very quiet over the weekend. Lewis fished the Pipe landing 3 at 27-08, 24, and 17-02. Elliot had a 15, 27-04 and 28-08 from Poachers Point while Sid had an 18 from the Takeaway.
