Holme Fen Fishery Weekly report 9th November
Justin Greig had a session he is never likely to repeat. With the wind continuing to blow from the south / SW and temperatures holding up Justin decided to fish in the Reeds on the front of the wind. After two days without a run he started questioning his decision as he watched a couple of fish being caught in other areas however the fish moved on the wind and Justin reaped the reward banking 10 in the final 48hr including an incredible 4 (inc 3 40’s) in an hour. Justin ended up with 10 carp to 49-10 inc 30, 33-08, 36-06, 36-10, 37-06, 41, 41-08, 45-02, 46-04 and 49-10. Pictures to follow. Other captures went to Ben Walmsley with a 39lb mirror from Four Strong Winds and Chris Cousins with a 36.10 and 43.07 (pic above) after moving to Blown away.
With the Meadows closing at the end of November we have just 7 spaces available during this month
