Holme Fen Fishery weekly report 8th and 13th September
Week ending the 8th Sept went well with 13 fish seeing the bank all but one over 30lb and four going over 40lb. Most fish came out of open water areas this week with the island being quiet. Michael Ruthven banked 3 at 33-12, 32-06 and 30-08 from Party Point, Bryan Harper also had a consolation 10lb Self breed Common from party point with the third member of the party Darren Bell catching a 30-06 from the Dugout. Fri/Sun saw the fish move north with Cris Foers banking an impressive 44-14 and 33-04 from Blown Away. Rob Sosbe had a great session with a brace of 40’s (44 & 40-04) plus a 38-08 & 34 from Harry’s. Saving the best until last Andy Saddington impressed with a 46-09 and 39-07 a great weeks fishing.
Week ending 13th Sept Started off great for Michael wood who banked 4 in 48 hrs (Wed to Fri) to 41-04 others inc 38-14, 33-14 & 32-12 all from the Lookout. The week then got harder with the Fri to sun guys failing to bank a single fish; well it had to happen sometime!
