Holme Fen Fishery weekly report 2nd Oct
Meadows: 1 x 50, 4 x 40’s
Lee and his group of mates from Cornwall booked the Meadows this week . Fishing wasn’t easy however there were periods throughout the week when they came on the feed and a few were caught. Steve had a 43-10 from the Reeds with Ian catching a brace of 40’s from Harry’s at 44-08 and 40. Dan caught a 21-06 from Four Strong Winds and Steve had 3 from the Pump Hole at 35, 27, and 20. Paul caught a last minute 50-01 from Sunset point as he was packing up to leave on Saturday morning and Lee had two at 33 and 21 on Saturday night from the Beach
Poachers Pool : 5 x 30’s
A great weeks fishing on Poachers pool this week. Mon-Tue Nobby had 3 from the Takeaway at 33-08, 27-08 & 17-04. Mark had 2 from the Pipe at 35-10 and 22-02 and Jonny had 2 from midpoint at 28 &14. Wed – Thur saw Ryan catch 4 from midpoint at 32-04, 30-08, 19 & 17. Fri-Sat Paul Cole caught 4 from the Pipe at 31-15, 26, 15 &12. Winter prices available, booking at www.holmefenfishery.co.uk
