Holme Fen Fishery Weekly report 2nd November
With air pressure down compared to the last few weeks and the promise of a new wind things looked good from the start. With the draw playing out as usual i.e. the open water swims going first; Colin Horsepool was last out selecting to fish Jakes (which produced a 47 last week). That night saw him put a 48-05 on the bank, the biggest fish of the week and a new PB for Colin. The following day Dean Young banked two, 44-06 and 40lb fishing HFF boilies to showing fish from Party point. With a strong southerly wind over night the fish moved to the Northern bay where Rob Barnes had sat patiently for 48hrs without a touch. Fishing from Blown Away to a clear area at 85 yards on the edge of a large weed bed Rob managed 4 including 38-12 (UK PB), 34, 32-10 and 20lb
