Holme Fen fishery weekly report 2nd May
Despite the cold nights and early morning frosts big fish continue to get caught from Meadows Lake, Holme Fen Fishery with another 5 x 40’s seeing the bank this week, the best being 47-12 going to Mark Dexter. Early week was a little harder with the cold weather and water temperature dropping by 3deg over the previous 7 days however Mark Wheeler banked a 41-02 fishing at about 100 yards from the Lookout. Tom Keys managed to catch a 40-02 on the last night of his 4 day stay from East Bay and Chris Cousins had a 40 from the beaches
Chris Foers booked the lake exclusively for his group over the weekend with exceptional results Mark Dexter had 4 including a 47-12, 38-0, 36-10 and a 12lb stocky fishing out of Wasted Time. Chris Foers had a 40.08 fishing the margins from Jakes (picture), Gary Marshall banked a 36.10 from the Beaches and Tommy Fletcher caught a 33.13 from the Pump Hole.
