Holme Fen Fishery Weekly report 26th October
Fishing has picked up a little this week with four fish seeing the bank. Interestingly all the fish this week have come from either island or marginal spots, so anybody coming on next week should take a close look around the lake prior to selecting their swims. With the wind finally changing direction to a south Westerly (albeit a bit gusty) fish were seen moving on it and by the weekend there were a lot of fish showing in the Northern bay.
Best fish of the week fell to Doug Laurence smashing his PB for the second time this year with a massive 47-07 mirror caught from Jacks on a clear spot 50 yards into the bay. Jason Thomlinson had a 39-02 on a margin spot fished from the Sunken tree, with Daniel Hicks banking a 37lb from the Dugout and Briynn Lovett catching a 34-08 a rod length off the Northern bank whilst fishing from the Reeds.
