Holme Fen Fishery weekly report 26th July 2015
Following Mark Bartletts midweek 53lber from the Beeches, this week’s anglers had a tough act to follow, but follow it they did with Captain Jack at 55lb. Two 50lb+ fish within 4 days of each other. We saw 13 fish seeing the bank this week, most of them being caught from open water at either end of the lake (Lookout and point). With 9 swims having access to the areas where the fish are showing everybody has a chance of catching. PCF HFF boilies were in the thick of the action again responsible for banking several of this week’s lumps. Well done to Ryan Rindles who caught a new PB in the form of Captain Jack at 55lb on HFF boilies from the Dugout. His fishing companions also using HFF boilies, John and Dave had 38-12 (Dugout) and 35 (Party Point). Matt Reynolds managed three 30’s from the Lookout at 37, 34-04 & 30-08. John had a 38-12 from the point and Lee Linchfied managed 4 to 38lb (Picture) also from the Lookout.
