Holme Fen Fishery weekly report 17th April
Meadows
A great weeks fishing on the Meadows with a number of big fish seeing the bank. Nobby started things off in the Dugout catching 44-06 and 42lb mirrors in the first day. Brad Greening fishing Party Point double also banked a 39lb mirror quickly into the session. Things did not slow down with Brad catching another at 22lb before moving to the Beach double and bagging a 51lb mirror on day 3. Nobby went on to catch a further 5 including 48-05, 35-12, 22-08, 18-04 and 17-12 all from the Dugout.
Darrin Price caught a 25 and 15 from Harrys before moving into Party Point Double on day 3 to catch a 40-12 Mirror. Dale had a 37 and 41 from Beach Double, while Wayne Mansford done well in the Pump Hole landing 3 at 43, 38 and 38
Poachers Pool
John Lock fished the Takeaway swim catching a 28lb mirror (PB) and Phil Camm had a 22. Whilst these are smaller than what has been out over the last few weeks they were greatly received and the guys had a great time.
