Holme Fen fishery report wk starting 25th Oct
Meadows: Steve group had 10 fish with seven of them over 40lb, the weeks biggest an impressive 56-08. Steve fished Party Point catching a 43-08, with Jay fishing the next swim catching a 41-08 from the Dugout. Gav and Dean fished the Reeds and Lookout with Gav catching a 48-08 and Dean 47-12 and 27-14. Lee started in Sunset point then moved to the Pump hole but after a further 2 nights with nothing moved to Island Double banking the largest of the week at 56-08 plus 38 and 42. Keith fished the Beeches catching a 41-08 and 30-08
Poachers: A great weeks fishing and new lake record with its first 40. The first session saw Tony catch a 33 from the Takeaway, midweek Jamie had two from Midpoint at 29-12 and 25-05. Over the weekend conditions improved with high winds and a big low resulting in Lewis catching a 42 and 35-05 from the Pipe and Danny a 27 from Takeaway.
