Holme Fen Fishery report – wk 3rd Aug
A hard week in hot conditions produces 7 fish with three of them over 50 and two 40’s.
Darren’s group of 5 booked the Meadows just as the hot weather set in. Ensuring they choose swims covering as much of the lake as possible the traps were set with Darren getting off to a quick start catching a 35 from Party point, followed by 42 and 26 later in the week. Paul set up in Harry ‘s but 24hrs later he was off to Jakes after seeing fish in the bay, a successful move as he had a 51lb mirror. Jenson had two in quick succession going 50-06 and 45 from the Dugout. Finally Rich caught the largest of the week at 57-08 from the Beach.
