Holme Fen Fishery report 24th April
2 x 50’s, 5 x 40’s, 6 x 30’s
The Meadows fished extremely well this week with many PB’s being broken. Phil Fanthorpe fished the Beach Double catching 44 PB, 40, 39, 39, 22 with his fishing mate Roy Smith catching a 46-06 PB also from the Beach. Kevin Law managed two from the Pump Hole at 22 and 50-14 PB while James Stew had the best fish of the week at 53-14 PB from Party Point. Others went to Keith Bassett catching a 39 PB from Party Point, Jason Basset had a 21-08 from the Dugout and Stuart Lange had a 44 from the Reeds. The weekend saw PCF baits hold one of their regular socials on the lake with Partners Phil Brown and Mark Brown winning first prize from the Beaches catching 6 at 41-03, 38-03, 36-12, 22-15, 38 and 41. The only other fish out over the weekend went to Gary Dorman catching a 38-12 from four strong winds
