Holme Fen Fishery – Meadows weekly report 3rd Oct

Ashley Tinker and his group booked the Meadows exclusively for the week drawing pegs and positioning themselves around the main area of the lake. Ashley lead the way banking his first early on, he went on to catch 4 including a brace of 40’s. Ashley’s fish went17-12, 22-08, 45-12 (pic) & 49-02 (pic) all caught from the Reeds. Rob Mclean landed the biggest fish of the week with an impressive 52-08 (pic) for which he received a Holme Fen 50’s club T shirt, Rob also had a 27-08 catching both fish from the Beaches. Adam Taylor had a 43-08 (pic) and 38-15 from Harry’s, Mathew Salmon caught a 43-03 (pic) from Sunset point and Ged caught a 45 on the last night from Wasted Time.
Poachers Pool responded to a bit of bait with Joe Mercer catching a 32-04 from the Takeaway and Giles Chester banked two from Poachers Point 29 Mirror and 22 Common
