Holme Fen Fishery – Meadows weekly report 31st July
3 x 50’s, 8 x 40’s, 11 x 30’s.
John Tandys group booked the meadows exclusively for the week and had a great time. With hot weather and an increasing air pressure things did not look ideal however the fish wanted to feed. Dave Gill selected to fish Sunset point and immediately found a spot with fish catching 9 over the week to 52lb others included 17, 22, 31, 37, 40, 41, 45 and 46.Lee Cross and Mick Crosen fished the Lookout and Reeds banking 5 between then at 31-04, 34-04, 36-08, 36-08, 39 before having to leave early. John Tandy and Dave Pullen then moved into the swims also catching 37-08 and 44-04, 42 & 36 respectively. Geoff Randals caught a 51 from the Beach double while Barry Southwold had the biggest of the session at 53 from Island Double. Dave Wright fished Party Point Double catching 6 at 46, 42, 37, 36, 28 and 26. There are a handful of days left between now and Nov so book early to avoid disappointment www.holmefenfishery.co.uk
