Holme Fen Fishery – Meadows weekly report 26th June
1 x 50, 5 x 40’s 10 x 30’s. what a week!
A great weeks fishing on the Meadows Lake, Holme Fen Fishery The first half of the week saw Andy Webster catching a 45-12, 34-08 & 31 from the Dugout which in itself is great fishing however Andy saw a few fish in the margin of the next bay so wound in for the afternoon and went stalking to great effect catching his fourth, a lovely scaly at 33-13. Lloyd Dyer had a 40-08, and Rob Wood had two at 40-04 and 39-06 from the Beach double.
The second half of the week was very overcast with consistent showers which the fish loved. Steve Wickens one of our regulars used his experience to catch 41, 36 and 33 from the Beach Double. Rob Pryer got amongst the fish when he selected the Dugout fishing a clear ‘ish’ area about 50 yards towards the island. Rob caught 5 inc. 29-06, 34-02, 43, 43-04 and 51-02 for which he was rewarded with a HFF 50’s club T shirt. Tom Keys had 3 from East Bay inc. 20, 29 & 34. Andy Lack had a 29-06 from Party Point Double, Paul Urbanowicz had a 34 from Blown Away and James Duncan-Finn had 36-11 and 16-08 from Harry’s.
