Holme Fen Fishery – Meadows weekly report 10th Oct

A tough week on Meadows with air pressure sitting around 1030 and a cold north easterly set in. Fish were seen occasionally and heard at night in the middle of the lake but were not actively feeding. Having said that the 3 fish that did come out made up for it. Bait company duo Steve Slayter and Chris Mardlin lead the way during the week with 48-08 from the Dugout and 52-08 from the Reeds. Conditions did not improve over the weekend with the only fish weighing 53lb (pic) going to Tom Keys, caught at about 80 yards cast between the islands also from the Dugout.
