Holme Fen Fishery and PCF support the PAG
Just a quick message from Carpworld to thank Holme Fen Fishery, and PCF for their kind donation of 48hrs on Poachers Pool, in aid of the PAG, with bait supplied. The lucky bidder Shane Smith, was accompanied by his good friend Tommy Dean Fury. Poachers was fishing hard when the guys arrived and the weather was chilly to say the least. The guys persevered casting tight to the tree line using a light scattering of Squidly Diddly boilies, fishing Twisted Orange Pop ups on Hinged Stiff Rigs. Unfortunately both anglers experienced a fish loss early on, but finished the trip on a high when Tommy banked a 27lb PB, followed shortly after by a 30lb mirror for Shane. Both anglers have vowed to return to this fantastic little fishery and wish to thank everyone concerned for a great weekend.
