Holme Fen Fishery – Meadows weekly report 12th June

Another good week on the Meadows with big fish being caught from all over the lake and the Pump hole swim showing signs of slowing down. Fish have generally been caught in the bays and on the side of the many islands providing easier casting and bait presentation.
Early week The Dugout produced 3 fish for Roger Grader using our PCF HFF boilies over our pellet from the left had margin shelf at 37-07, 38-09 & 44-10. Chad Brown had a 36-06 from the island double and Jez Lomaz had a 41PB (picture) Mirror from the Pump hole also using PCF HFF Boilies over a bed of pellet. Barry |Harrowing had a great trip fishing the Beach double and banking 4 at 43-10, 34-08, 32-10 & 30-14. The weekend saw Stephen Bennets group on for a lake booking with blue skies and blazing sun. despite the hot conditions and high pressure, they pulled it out the bag. Shaun Swift landed a 51 Mirror and 24Common from Jakes fishing to the back of a shallow bar. Chris Knapper fishing in the next swim Island Bay managed also managed two at 41-07 and 31-12 fishing tight to the left hand island. Matt Preston selected the Beach Double and caught a 48-12 and 23-04 while Lee Yoxall had a slow start but banked a 44 and 31-02 during the last night’s stay,
