Holme Fen fishery weekly report 23rd May
9 x 30’s 2 x 40’s and a 50 not bad for a week’s fishing on Meadows Holme Fen fishery as big and more catches than the majority of French lakes. The first two days of the week started off slow with only one 23lber being caught from Wasted Time. However, the lake started fishing from wed with John Pike leading the way from the Dugout banking 3 inc one beating his UK PB by 3lb at 50lb others went 40-05 and 35. Mark fisher had three from the pump Hole at 37, 28-10 and 27-8 while Tim Denyer and Daniel Crosk caught 38-08, 35-04 and 31-02 from the Beach double. The weekend saw the Folly syndicate book the Meadows for a social fish away. Lee Birch drew the pump hole catching 48, 37, 35 & 34-08, Dave Stephenson caught a 41 and Chris Foers had a 31-12 with a 12lb self-breed going to Lee Birch.
